The 52 journalists attending the annual Auto Roundup chose the 2015 Chrysler 300 as Car of Texas, and the 2015 Toyota Sienna as the Family Car of Texas.
Other Auto Roundup winners included: Best Value, 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Coupe; Best New Feature, 2015 Dodge SRT Hellcat 6.2-liter Supercharged HEMI V8 Engine; and Best New Interior, the 2015 Lincoln MKZ’s Black Label Package.
Winning the Sub-Compact Car Division was the 2015 Kia Forte5 SX, with the 2015 Chevrolet Trax LTZ runner up. Compact Car of Texas was won by the 2015 Ford Focus SE, with the 2016 Acura ILX runner up. Premium Compact was the 2015 Subaru WRX Ltd with the 2014 Mazda Mazda3 S 5-door Grand Touring runner up.
In the Mid-Size Car category, the 2015 Chrysler 200 was named the winner with the 2015 Mazda6 I Grand Touring runner up. In the Mid-Size Luxury Car category, the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe was the winner with the 2015 Lincoln MKZ Black Label runner up.
In the full-size category, the 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack was the winner with the 2015 Toyota Avalon Hybrid runner up. For full-size luxury car, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S550 was the winner, with the 2015 Jaguar XJ (long wheelbase) runner up.
Performance Compact was the 2015 Volkswagen Golf R, with the 2015 Ford Focus ST as runner up. Performance Coupe was the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Coupe runner up. Performance Sedan was the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, with the 2015 Cadillac CTS V Sport TT runner up.
The Minivan category was won by the 2015 Toyota Sienna Ltd., with the 2015 Chrysler Town & Country runner up. Activity Vehicle was the 2015 Lexus NX 200t F-SPORT, with the 2015 Jeep Renegade Limited a close runner up.
Performance Utility was won by the 2015 SRT Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT with the 2015 Land Rover Ranger Rover runner up. The Green Vehicle was the 2015 Lexus NX 300h, with the 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE runner up.
The Super Car of Texas was the 2015 Bentley Continental GT V8 S Convertible, with the 2015 Nissan GT-R Premium runner up.
